Growing up, my family and I often sketched together. The daughter of an architect, I have childhood memories of my parents, sisters and I sitting in restaurants or cafes, covering the paper mats or table covers with houses—real or imagined. To this day, house and building structures are a subject I often visit, whether plein-air or captured in a photo to visit later in my studio. I live in a neighborhood where the homes are well over 100 years old. When the light falls just right on such a relic, I can be found sketching or painting it.

If you are interested in a commission of your home, your garden, or special spot you’d like captured on canvas or paper—let’s talk! I work on location (if it makes sense) or from well documented photographs.
